Win Your First Auto Payment!

How it Works:  Twenty four winners will be chosen from January to December 2012.  Twelve will win their first auto payment from ICCU (paid directly on the loan balance, not to exceed $600).  Another twelve will win a $50 gas card.

How to Enter:  Members who finalize (close) their new or used auto loan with an ICCU loan officer at the credit union qualify for this offer.  Refinanced vehicle loans brought to ICCU from another lender also qualify.  In most cases, you will save money with lower payments.

Details: Entries will not be carried over to the following month.  Indirect loans (ICCU auto loans closed at a dealership); refinanced ICCU loans and loans to official family members of ICCU are not eligible to win the first payment on ICCU. The monthly drawing is conducted in the ICCU lobby and the winner is chosen by an unbiased visiting members.

Car Buying & Financing Considerations:

There are many ways to obtain financing on a vehicle. Some people do their homework, visit a loan officer, get pre-approved and shop knowing how much they can responsibly afford, and buy a quality vehicle for a quality price.

Others, fall in love with a car, truck or SUV and within minutes make a financial decision at a dealership that binds them for 84 months (that's seven years!).

Buying a vehicle is a personal decision. It is not your credit union's place to tell you what to do, or how to do it. ICCU does however, have an obligation and a commitment to help members get the best deal, rate and financing terms for their individual situation.

ICCU encourages members to spend 15 minutes with a loan officer PRIOR to shopping for any vehicle. The conversation can include calculating payments, determining values and re-sale, consider options and back-end products and warranties. That 15 minutes may be the best investment you'll ever make!

The Gap Advantage: An optional benefit that gives you peace of mind, if your vehicle is "totaled" or stolen and not recovered. With GAP coverage, not only will you receive the difference between the value of your vehicle and its unpaid loan, you will also get a head start on financing a new or used replacement vehicle at your credit union.

Your credit union offers GAP coverage at discounted rates AND the cost can be combined into your loans so there are NO OUT OF POCKET costs. To learn more, click here.

Apply Online: To apply online, using our safe application process, click on the "Apply" link on the left.  A loan officer will contact you within hours, and assist you with entering the contest, upon approval.

Want a Lower Car Payment?  Refinance!

If you have a new or used auto loan at any place other than your credit union, consider bringing it to ICCU.  In the majority of situations, you will save money each month, and throughout the life of the loan.

There is no cost or fee to refinance your non-ICCU auto loan. ICCU will also cover the cost of the title transfer, and there is never an application fee.

ICCU members Brad and Gwynn saved over $1,500 by refinancing their high-rate bank loan with ICCU, and you could too.  It only takes 15 minutes to find out if you will save money.  Contact an ICCU loan officer today to see how much you can save!
