Business Development Officer

Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for delivering credit and deposit solutions for small to large businesses? Responsibilities:

  • Business Development – Identify and cultivate new commercial lending and deposit opportunities within the community to grow the credit union’s deposits and commercial loan portfolio.

  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential commercial clients. Provide exceptional service to ensure business member satisfaction and retention.

  • Credit Analysis – Assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, analyze financial statements, and conduct risk assessments to help make informed lending decisions.

  • Loan Structuring – Work closely with business members to structure loan packages that meet their business needs while aligning with the credit union’s risk tolerance.

  • Collaboration – Collaborate with internal and external teams, including credit analysts, underwriters, and loan processors, to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing and fulfillment.

  • Regulatory Compliance – Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure all commercial lending activities comply with the applicable laws and policies.

  • Market Research – Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and economic factors that may impact commercial lending opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal, goal-oriented candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial lending or business development in the financial services industry. A strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to commercial lending. The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Member Support Specialist

Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for helping members receive fast, courteous, and accurate service? Join ICCU as a full-time Member Support Specialist. We are seeking an individual who embodies personal integrity, thrives in a collaborative culture, and is committed to supporting the financial needs of our members. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting members and employees with telephone calls, chats, emails, and texts, answering questions about products and services, and resolving problems.

  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products or services to members.

  • Conferring with members by telephone, chat, email, or text to provide information about our products or services.

  • Maintaining accurate member account information and preparing required reports.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal, goal-oriented candidate will have a high school diploma or GED or a combination of education and applicable work experience. Ability to work well within a team or individually, and provide friendly, prompt, professional, and accurate service and support to all members. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.

Part-Time Member Service Representative

If you share our passion for serving others, then ICCU is the place for you to build a rewarding career. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and qualified applicants for a part-time Member Service Representative. The qualified applicant will provide efficient, courteous, and outstanding member service in a member-facing environment.  

As a Member Service Representative, you will:

  • Assist members with all aspects of member service, including over-the-counter financial transactions involving cash, negotiable instruments, and account maintenance

  • Maintain accuracy in the posting of transactions and balancing a cash drawer and daily work

  • Assist members with opening/closing accounts

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities by building rapport with members and promoting ICCU products and services

  • Complete ongoing specialized training requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Ability to work independently and as a team

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A high level of professionalism and communication skills

  • The ability to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills

Candidate must have superior communication, math, and computer skills. Prior experience in a credit union environment is preferred. One to twelve months of similar or related experience is required. Commensurate work experience and/or applicable job-specific training will also be considered.
